Most interesting Bearville moments

Can be anything! Cringey things you've done, funny things that happened, any bearville boyfriends or girlfriends etc idk hahah

I just remembered how there were a couple times where I went to great lengths by switching over to safe chat from my regular open chat in order to communicate with certain players.

I clearly remember how I wanted this heart print shirt pictured here (it's a retired pawlette item and also the colour is rare) and this one girl was wearing it, but she has safe chat. I knew she wouldn't be able to see anything I say if I talk to her using my open chat so I switched over. I kept selecting phrases like "I like your shirt, is it for trade?" in the safe chat menu and eventually gave her some free pawlette clothing items. She then proceeded to wear the clothes I gave her so now she is no longer wearing this heart print shirt, meaning I can potentially trade her for it, and she actually clicked accept in one of our trades! xD


Another time I did this was when I wanted an invitation to the zoo party room so I can get the Roar Move (wanted it for my music videos). This one girl had the party room but like the previous one, she has safe chat. So I switched over and said "Can you invite me to your party?", "Let's party!" and similar phrases and after like 1 or 2 hours she finally sent me an invitation LOL

It takes a lot of patience sometimes but both instances paid off!

That's so smart to change to safe chat! I love how both times your persistence worked 

I think the most interesting Bearville moment I had was when I bought the summer beach house extension (not sure if that's the right name but it was like a big house by the beach!). I remember sitting by the oceanside and watching the waves, and after about a minute passes, a sea turtle walked up! I had never noticed it before. So, I left him a big birthday cake in hopes he'd eat it someday 

Mine's more a life event story, but I was actually inspired to start writing stories after Build a Bearville introduced a little program into the library for a short time. All members were allowed to write their own works and submit them, and I participated in my fair share of those when it was around! Though the feature was sadly removed, I kept using that creative drive to better my skills and keep my imagination going! Bearville was, essentially, my inspiration from a young age.

I am sure there were other times I don't remember where I failed but it's great to have a few that succeeded

And aww that's so cute c: I love all those details the babv team adds to the game, makes it so much more special

It reminds me of the photo safari game where if you wait a bit longer all those magical creatures appear and you'll be able to earn higher points if you catch them on camera

That's super neat! I wish I paid more attention to those stories honestly. I actually wrote and illustrated a babv story as well with my build a bears where they partook in a great race or something xD Didn't submit it, just a personal thing I did. Sadly I no longer have it

My most interesting moments were the really hilarious things I did with my friends. We had parties, we dressed up, we had popcorn fights in the movie theatre and water fights in the library. We used to just park ourselves in random places and do the most random stuff and it was honestly so so fun. I remember recruiting for the forum Bearville Bakery (its not longer around) in BABW and having everyone hating on us. It was so funny. I'd always make music videos and I even had a talk show with my bearville family which was honestly so random. Then ofc there were all my bearville boyfriends which honestly was hilarious. I miss the game so much.

That's so cool you had your own talk show too c: I remember getting invited for a bearville talk show since I edited videos too, even recorded some spoken dialogue, but the guy never uploaded it.
Gosh it was so cringe since I faked my voice due to not wanting my real voice on the internet x'D So I'm actually a bit thankful he didn't end up sharing it

And I remember lowkey wanting a bearville boyfriend hahah, but every guy who approaches me on there were only after my rare LOL
One of my friends also catfished a bunch of us in our friend circle with a boy account and I legit thought he was real

I don't remember how long this partnership lasted, but Build a Bear partnered with a site called Tik A Tok where kids could write their own books that they could buy and have physical copies of. I wrote a lot of stories about my bears. I think in 2009 there was a Christmas contest on the site and I wrote a story about Holly and Hal Moose and drew pictures for it, and it won the best illustrations' category! I ended up getting a few free copies of my book and they were out in my school library. Super cool (indirect) memory for BABV
