we don't know when Bearville Rewritten will be released but the game may be released late 2021.

custom usernames may be available! but that's something that you'll have to find out soon....

Will it just be bears initially available to choose at the start or will there be other animals too? And how are you guys finding all of stuffed animals that were available at build a bear? (I had a dog that's why I'm wondering)

these will be simplest to add, though it hasn't really been sorted.

So since we are possibly adding new furry friends to BABVR, how is that gonna work?

The drawing part I understand, but how are you guys gonna have those new assets animated? Is there a preset animation file with the movements and such that you somehow apply to these new artworks of new furry friends so they'll move around the same way the originals do? (I hope that makes sense lol)

we have some movement animation files for furry friends.

Will the be a maximum amount of bears we can use or can we just make it so everyone has access to every single bear?

Is there a way to modernise the game so that it appeals to the newer generation and seems more mature whilst still remaining with its historic touch?

Will the MLP line be omitted from the game, even though they were available in the original Bearville?

Oh, I didn't see it in this post, perhaps I've missed it. Thanks for the heads up. What's the status on how brands like MLP and Hello Kitty are being handled?

I guess if I had to add something, maybe it would be good to not have the characters. I would be pretty bummed if so much effort was put in getting BVR up and running, only for a little thing like Rainbow Dash to take it down lol.

Hi! I am sooooo excited about the recreation of BABV. It was literally the best game, but I have a few questions about BVR...

1. Will we be able to access our old accounts? I had spent years saving up bear bills for clothes and furniture. Will I have to start from scratch?

2. How can I add furry friends? I had six bears on my old account. I no longer have their birth certificates or codes. Will it be possible to re-add them if my old account can no longer be accessed?

3. Are we still be able to trade? That was one of my favourite things about the game!

4. Will BVR bring back beachfront homes and the North Pole at Christmas? 

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just so excited. I can't wait for the game to be completed. I absolutely loved BABV!

Unfortunately, all old accounts no longer exist and we will not be able to access them . Furry friends will be purchased with bearbills in game as opposed to secret codes or purchased from the forum using forum currency. We haven't completely worked out the logistics yet. We plan to keep trading around! It was one of my favorite things as well and made the game so so enjoyable. We hope to have beachfront homes and the North Pole.

Will there be anything like the bearville times or will the forums replace that? Also, what will happen with items that used to be rare, will those become available for everyone to purchase with BB or something similar?

How much will furry friends cost in bearbills?

We're not completely sure yet. We would LOVE to continue the bearville times, or at least have a slightly shorter version of it. I guess we'll see when we actually have the game ready. As for rare items, we're still discussing how we're going to make that work. Having a bit of an economy and the need for trade is definitely a good thing. But it's also nice to make it easy for the people who never were able to get the rare items in the original game. We're gonna take both of those into account when we make the decision.

We aren't sure how much they will cost yet, but I'm sure it'll be affordable. Maybe we'll have ranging prices depending on how rare a certain bear is.
